Things to do in Frisco, TX

Want to go skydiving without actually jumping out of the plane? iFly is an indoor skydiving experience that is both safe and fun. With no parachute or jumping, you’ll have the sensation of free-falling while hovering over a wind tunnel.

 

Calling all Dallas Cowboys fans! Gear up and get ready to watch the boys as they prepare for their weekly games. As home to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, The Star in Frisco is a 91-acre sports and entertainment district. From shopping to dining and luxury hotels, there’s more to do than just catch a practice.

 

Grab those irons and start yelling FORE! The PGA of America will soon be relocating its world headquarters to Frisco as well. The agreement between the city and the PGA includes more than a $2.5 billion economic impact over the next 20 years. With this move, the city will see two championship golf courses and will hopefully bring two KPMG Women’s PGA Championships and potentially a Ryder Cup.

Not really into sports, check out Frisco’s Discovery Center where Frisco’s Black Box Theater is housed. More than $3 million of renovations went into the theater which opened in 2010. Performances are put on by the local Frisco Community Theater, Frisco Area Children’s Theatre, Frisco Youth Theatre, Frisco Improv Players, Institute of Global Music and Arts, Plano Symphony Orchestra, and other local arts groups.
